As a Working Student Software Development at Finanztip, you'll support our engineering team in developing and improving our website, calculators, and web applications—from implementing new features to testing software and documenting code.

About your role
- You actively contribute to the development and optimization of our website, calculators, and internal tools – you are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field and are available to work around 20 hours per week.
- Together with our engineering team, you implement new features and enhancements. Your interest in clean code, agile development, and modern software architectures enables you to quickly become familiar with our projects.
- You support the maintenance and further development of our web applications across both frontend and backend. Your first hands-on experience in web development and your knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS or PHP allow you to contribute effectively.
- While testing our software solutions, you identify bugs and help ensure the highest quality standards. Your structured and solution-oriented way of working is a real asset.
- You also take responsibility for documenting code and technical processes with care and accuracy. Your ability to work independently and your attention to detail set you apart.
- By analyzing user feedback, you develop concrete ideas to improve the user experience. Your eagerness to learn enables you to quickly apply new insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
In a Nutshell – What Sets You Apart
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field and are available to work around 20 hours per week.
- You already have some practical experience in web development, for example with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP and are interested in clean code, agile methodologies, and modern software architectures.
- You are available to work from our Munich office at least two days per week.
About your team
You'll become part of our IT team led by Daniele Cinquantini (CTO). In your role, you'll work closely with other software developers and have the opportunity to further expand your expertise in software development.
